Welcome to my first episode of my Signature Series, this is SAUCY. These Signature Series releases will all be material I have honed over years in my professional repertoire. They either have had or still have a firm, cemented place in my working sets. This is real world working material and I share EVERYTHING from method and effect to all the tips and ideas for performing that I have learned over the years. These are not ideas that have been created to sell, these are ideas that were created for me PERSONALLY to use myself. It's just I feel now that I am ready to share them. THEY FEEL THE MAGIC At its core SAUCY is a card in sealed sachet routine, but the beautiful thing about the structure of this routine is that it is all centered around making your spectators FEEL the magic. It is this structure that elevates SAUCY above a normal impossible location plot. It begins with a prediction that turns out to be correct, which happens to be Ketchup (or whatever sachet you are using!). A playing card is then chosen and a piece is torn from it and handed to the spectator. the rest of the card vanishes at your FINGERTIPS, it is entirely gone, vanished, disappear-ed! You then ask the spectators to now feel the Ketchup sachet and impossibly it now feels hard, it is no longer full of ketchup. The sachet is completely sealed and can be inspected before your spectator tears it open themselves to find inside the chosen card. Of course the piece they have been holding the whole time matches perfectly, not almost, not very closely, but EXACTLY. Your spectators will sell this effect for you as their model of reality collapses and they realize the once squishy sauce sachet is now rigid! If you want you can then go on to restore the torn piece from the playing card. "Love it! It's the walk around worker's bill in orange but a card in Sauce. Fantastic"

Handkerchief Pedestal

The Handkerchief Pedestal is a classic prop for the production of a handkerchief in a clear glass tumbler. The effect can be found detailed in many magic text books.
We have now produced a deluxe version of this utility prop, made in spun metal, and powder coated to give you a life long scratch free and very attractive piece of apparatus.

In effect a clear glass is placed on a skeleton pedestal. The glass is covered with an empty cylinder, (which could be examined if you wished). When the cylinder is lifted away a silk (which has been previously vanished) appears inside the clear glass tumbler.

The pedestal we supply measures about 6.5″ high and 3.75″ at the base. The clear glass tumbler is 2.75″ in diameter and 4.5″ high. The cylinder is 3″ in diameter, and 5″ high. The item is supplied complete with instructions Besides handkerchiefs, this can be used for a sponge ball routine, or even a “Bill Tube” type of effect, where a borrowed signed bill vanishes from a spectator’s hand, and appears in the empty glass.

2 3-foot ropes, one yellow and one red are shown as the performer describes them. They represent boys and girls. They are tied together and silks are tied onto the ropes. Simple knots may be tied in the rope instead of using silks. As each knot is tied, the performer shares a truth about “giving“ that applies to everyone. The ropes are placed in a change bag and two helpers are asked to hold the end of the ropes. And now the real magic of giving, when each of us does a little, it will not go unnoticed. It will grow.
