Angus Baskerville Wins “Best Wedding Magician” at The Cotswolds Awards

Rising UK magician Angus Baskerville is celebrating a major new milestone after being voted Best Wedding Magician in the Cotswolds Awards, a recognition that highlights both his talent as a close-up performer and his inspiring personal story.

Baskerville, a South Warwickshire entrepreneur and autism advocate, has been open about how magic “saved his life” and continues to use his platform to raise awareness around autism, ADHD, and mental health. Known for his strong stage presence and mind-bending close-up magic, he’s become a sought-after name for weddings and high-end events across the UK.

The award comes soon after the launch of his first book, “Naughty or Neurodiverse: An Aspie’s Road To Magic,” which shares his journey from a misunderstood childhood to building a professional career through magic. After being diagnosed with Asperger’s and ADHD as a teenager, he found purpose and confidence through performance—eventually earning money for the first time doing tricks for tips and going on to join the Magic Circle.

Now 29, Baskerville’s career momentum is continuing to build with appearances including a return to the Edinburgh Fringe Festival, following a successful one-man show and a growing list of national accolades. Despite a busy schedule, he still makes time to “pay it forward” through workshops, mentoring, and speaking engagements in the neurodiversity space.
