Alyson Hannigan freely selected a playing card from Chef Anton’s unusual deck of billiard-themed cards. She chose the Queen of Diamonds and signed her name on a large sticker, which was placed directly onto the face of the card. The signed card was then returned to the deck.

Chef Anton balanced two pool balls on the table and announced that he would attempt to locate Alyson’s signed card using the same shot that he claimed had fooled Minnesota Fats when Anton was only nine years old.

After lining up the shot, Anton sent the balls into motion. In the astonishing finale, Alyson’s signed Queen of Diamonds was found impaled on the end of the pool cue.

The revelation received a huge response from Hannigan and the studio audience. It was an ideal ending because it combined a card trick, an authentic-looking trick shot and an impossible physical souvenir that Alyson could immediately verify.

The “Magic Capital of the World” is preparing to welcome magicians and magic fans as Abbott’s 88th Magic Get-Together takes place August 5–8, 2026, in Colon, Michigan.

Presented by Abbott Magic, the historic four-day convention will feature stage shows, lectures, close-up magic, street performances, dealer displays, contests and opportunities for members of the magic community to spend time together.

The Evasons Amaze Penn & Teller With Incredible Mind Reading on Fool Us

 The Evasons have spent decades perfecting one of the most impressive two-person mentalism acts in the world. When Jeff and Tessa Evason brought their remarkable mind-reading abilities to Penn & Teller: Fool Us, they demonstrated exactly why they are so highly respected throughout the magic community.

The husband-and-wife mentalist duo appeared during Season 3 of Fool Us in an episode that originally aired on September 7, 2016. Although Penn and Teller ultimately determined that they understood the secret behind the performance, what they said afterward may have been even more valuable than winning the famous Fool Us trophy.

The Evasons Deliver Astonishing Mentalism on Fool Us

For their performance, Tessa remained onstage wearing a blindfold while Jeff moved freely through the theater, interacting with randomly selected audience members.

Penn Jillette’s reaction made it clear that he and Teller were deeply impressed.
