Magic fans in Hamilton have something exciting to look forward to this September, as acclaimed performer Nicholas Wallace unveils a brand-new live experience—The Surprise Show.
The Niagara-based magician, known for selling out shows across the Hamilton area and appearing on major television platforms like Penn & Teller: Fool Us and America's Got Talent, is bringing a fresh concept to the stage at The Staircase Theatre.
A Behind-the-Scenes Look at Magic in Progress
Unlike traditional magic shows, The Surprise Show offers audiences a rare glimpse into the creative process. These weekly performances pull back the curtain on how new routines are developed, tested, and refined in front of a live audience.
Wallace will headline each 90-minute show, using the opportunity to workshop brand-new material—giving attendees a front-row seat to the evolution of magic before it hits bigger stages.
A Variety Show with a Twist
Co-produced by Luke Brown, Director of New Play Development at Theatre Aquarius, the show goes far beyond magic.
Each night features a rotating lineup of guest performers spanning multiple creative disciplines, including:

No two shows are the same, making each Wednesday night a completely unique experience.
Interactive & Unpredictable
