At just 27 years old, Malaysian illusionist Tan Jin Wei—better known by his stage name Jin—has already spent more than half his life mastering the art of magic. Featured in The A-List 2026, Jin’s story is one of passion, perseverance, and an unwavering commitment to creating wonder.
Jin began his magical journey at the age of 13. What started as youthful curiosity quickly became a lifelong calling.
“I started learning magic when I was 13, and even in the early days, all I could think about was how to turn that passion into something real,” Jin shared in the interview.
Unlike the fairy-tale image many associate with magic, Jin’s success did not come from waving a wand or reciting mystical words. Instead, it was built through years of intense practice, dedication, resilience, and countless performances.
