Rising magic star Rafferty Coope has been announced as the latest performer to join the cast of Now You See Me Live, the stage illusion spectacular inspired by the hit movie franchise. The production will run at London's historic London Coliseum from July 31 through September 6, 2026.
The 17-year-old magician captured national attention during the 2025 season of Britain's Got Talent, where he earned KSI's coveted Golden Buzzer with a unique performance that combined piano playing and card magic. Throughout the competition, Coope continued to impress audiences and judges alike with a blend of music, mind reading, and theatrical storytelling, ultimately reaching the show's final.
Speaking about the opportunity, Coope shared his excitement about joining a production based on a film series that inspired his own interest in magic. He described performing in the West End alongside some of the world's top magical performers as a tremendous honor and said he looks forward to sharing the sense of wonder that first drew him into the art.
Coope joins an already impressive lineup of performers that includes illusion designer Enzo Weyne, escapologist Andrew Basso, magician Gabriella Lester, British illusionist Matthew Pomeroy, manipulation artist Eden Choi, and stage hypnotist Fraser Penman.
Inspired by the globally successful Now You See Me films, the live production promises large-scale illusions, daring stunts, cutting-edge technology, and immersive theatrical magic designed to bring the cinematic world of the Horsemen to life on stage.
Executive producer Tim Lawson praised Coope's addition to the cast, noting that the young magician won over audiences during his Britain's Got Talent journey and is expected to bring the same energy and charm to theatergoers this summer.
With a combination of established international stars and exciting new talent, Now You See Me Live is shaping up to be one of the most anticipated magic productions of the year.
