Al Belmont Brings Magic to Frankenmuth’s Fischer Hall

Frankenmuth, Michigan, is getting an extra dose of wonder this summer as award-winning magician Al Belmont brings the Belmont Festival of Magic Show to the historic Fischer Hall.

The family-friendly production opened on July 30 and will continue at 7 p.m. every Thursday, Friday and Saturday through August 15, 2026. Each performance promises more than an hour of fast-moving magic, comedy, music, audience participation and theatrical illusions.

Described as a Broadway-style magic production, the show wastes no time getting to the action. According to the official event description, audiences will see more than 14 magic tricks during the first eight minutes alone.

Belmont’s show also features appearing animals, original illusions and plenty of opportunities for audience members to become part of the magic. The performance was created to entertain children, teenagers, adults and seniors, making it a fun addition to a family visit to Frankenmuth.

An Award-Winning Magician Takes the Stage

Al Belmont’s career has earned him several major honors within the magic community, including the Milbourne Christopher Master’s Award for lifetime achievement, excellence, originality and leadership in magic.

He has also received the Jack Gwynne Award for Excellence in Presentation, an honor named after one of the most influential illusionists and showmen in American magic history.

Belmont presents his mysteries with a lighthearted personality and a strong emphasis on entertainment. Rather than offering a simple collection of tricks, the Festival of Magic is designed as a complete theatrical experience filled with comedy, showmanship and surprising visual moments.

A new video from WNEM-TV5 gives viewers a preview of the magic coming to Fischer Hall and explains how local families can experience the production.
